The Executive Committee of the Trinidad & Tobago Rugby Union (TTRU) would like to express its heartfelt gratitude and thanks to all participants, teams and the various Committees for their unwavering dedication and commitment to ensuring the Ruggerama Tournament held at the Queen’s Park Savannah on August 19, 2023, was a success.
Despite the challenges posed by the inclement weather, the determination and enthusiasm of all members remained undiminished and it is this spirit of resilience which defines our beloved sport and makes us incredibly proud to witness firsthand.
We wish to extend congratulations to Caribs Rugby Football Club Senior Men’s 15s Team for winning the tournament with their outstanding performances. The hard work, team spirit and skills on the pitch were evident to all and have set a commendable standard for all teams to aspire.
Looking ahead, the Executive Committee is optimistic and hopeful for the upcoming rugby season and if this tournament is any indication, we are set to experience a season replete with camaraderie, fierce competition and unforgettable moments on the rugby field. Together, let us strive for an even more successful and exciting season!
