Please be advised that the Trinidad & Tobago Rugby Union (TTRU) is seeking volunteers for the 2023 Commonwealth Youth Games, scheduled to take place in Trinidad and Tobago from August 4 to 11, 2023, of which the Rugby 7s Competition will be held at Shaw Park, Tobago, from August 6 to 8, 2023.
Persons interested in volunteering are invited to register via the link, https://forms.gle/hGcNpmj3qzsu9sN3A. Volunteers are also required to complete the official Trinbago 2023 Volunteer Form via the link, https://app.gms.trinbago2023.org/register/volunteers#/. When completing the latter form, you will be required to provide copies of identification and a recent photo. A certificate of good character may also be required before taking up a volunteer position.
Please note that all volunteers are required to have a valid passport, be able to cover their costs for airfare, accommodation and ground transport and undergo training as outlined by the Local Organising Committee (LOC). Meals and uniforms will be provided. Details on training schedules will be provided when available.
Volunteers will also be required to attend the CYG 2023 Rugby Test Event, scheduled to take place at Shaw Park, Tobago on July 1 & 2, 2023 as this would be a form of training for the games.
Members are requested to share this information with their families, friends and communities as all persons are welcomed to sign up to be a volunteer for CYG 2023.
