The Trinidad & Tobago Rugby Football Union (TTRFU) along with members of the Trinidad & Tobago Rugby Referees Society (TTRRS) and Stag Trinidad Northern Rugby Football Club, join with the country to extend condolences to the family and colleagues of Master Chef Joe Brown.
Joe was a long time associate and friend of rugby, having played for the Stag Trinidad Northern Rugby Football Club in the 70s and 80s. After retiring from playing, his love for the game took him to refereeing, where he became one of the better referees in the Caribbean.
His real passion though and lifetime profession was cooking where Joe delved into the culinary arts and became one of the outstanding chefs in the region. He owned and operated both the Solimar and Jaffa restaurants. Many a chef, can attest to the contribution Joe made to their development.
Joe Brown will be sadly missed.
