Following the hard fought win by the Trinidad & Tobago Senior Men’s National 15s Rugby Team against Bermuda on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at St. Anthony’s College Grounds, the Men’s Under 19 National Team continues their training and preparation for the 2018 Rugby Americas North (RAN) Men’s Under 19 Tournament in Mexico, from July 7 to 14, 2018.
This group of young men have been training since November 2017 and are anxious to represent the red, white and black in the tournament.
The Trinidad & Tobago Men’s Under 19 National Rugby Team has placed third at the last two (2) RAN Tournaments and Manager, Quentin Lyder-Baptiste, has been quoted as saying that this team with the mix of experience and new talent is poised to capture first place in 2018.
The parents of these athletes have been very supportive thus far in ensuring that their children attend the National Team training sessions, which are held at the Queen’s Park Savannah in Port-of-Spain on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Sundays at a time and venue to be confirmed by team management.
